A hidden gem in Indy’s up and coming North Mass (NoMa) neighborhood, DIGS is Indy’s funkiest garden center. Designed by artist Amy Lapka and built almost exclusively from salvaged and upcycled materials by the Heath Outdoor team in 2022, DIGS has quickly grown into a destination for green-loving Eastside, Old Northside and downtown residents to shop and connect.

With a large selection of annuals, perennials, houseplants, gardening supplies and gifts, along with pumpkins and Christmas trees in season, DIGS is an urban gardener’s haven in downtown Indy.

DIGS was the first business to open in the new The Yard at North Mass development, which now also features The Green Room, an intimate, urban-chic indoor event space and Dog Henge Dog Park– a free, public dog park that’s also available to rent for private events.

In the spring of 2025, The Yard Bar and South Monon Spirits Distillery will also open at The Yard at North Mass. The entire one-acre property is available to rent for weddings and other outdoor events.
